From what I can tell Speeders is now open.  Here's some of the pricing...

Annual Membership - $15.95
1 x 14 laps - $20
3 x 14 laps - $49

Pricing details here...
http://www.speeders.ca/racing

So how about we setup a date?  We'd have to confirm time and date availability with Speeders but maybe saturday, February 9th?  1:00pm?

OK, let's make it at 3:00pm?

Anyone know a good place to go nearby afterwards?

I'd be up for this too. Gotta make sure I'm allowed to come out and play first.

There's not many places to go nearby. Maybe the food court at Deefoot mall...;) Actually there's a Vietnamese place a block north of the mall that I see all the time. Never been in there, but reviews are decent. Or the Black Bull pub just west of Hwy 2 on 64th. Other than that I think closest is the strip along Barlow, take your pick.

Yah, maybe the Black Bull Pub.  I think I've been there once before but it was a few years back.  Either that or there's a Boston Pizza up at Center Street and Beddington up by the Pig and Whistle Pub?  Anyone been to any of these?

I think we had better get a head count on this deal call ahead to make sure we have a spot for everyone. I know the one in Edmonton lets you bring your own helmet too, which I'm sure is an accessory that most of us have. Maybe even bring my blue suede shoes!

Just an fyi; I think if you bring your own helmet it has to be a full face helmet.  So mine would be no good, gotta use theirs.
