Mustang Winter Tires
« on: April 01, 2014, 08:58:20 AM »
So I'm trying to decide on what sort of winter tires would work best with my Mustang's suspension setup.  I was thinking these Firestone Winterforce tires...

They come in 225/50R17s and are studable.  I figure this is gonna give me some good traction but not sure how it will work for fender clearance.  I'd like to get these installed this week so I can go for a drive and put some mileage on the new engine.  Anyone else have some suggestions?

Well, looks like the forecast is improving and most of the snow should be melted by the weekend.  Don't think I'll be needing those snow tires anymore.  Maybe next winter.  ;)

The funny part about this is that my Roush stage 2 5.0 DOES have winter tires on it in spite of being parked all winter. The sad part is that I still need them in APRIL!
